Each piece begins with a drawing before I translate it into fiber art. Pillows are first illustrated and rug tufted using 100% New Zealand lambswool before I fill and sew each one by hand.
Handwoven textiles are made using a table loom -- a slow, methodical practice that can sometimes take weeks to finish but is a calm balance to the lively movement of rug tufting.
